If I had two apples,
Do you know what I would do?
I’d shine them up and keep one for me,
And give the other one to you.

It was one of those afternoons where the air is completely still, the temperature is non-existent because you are completely comfortable and the only sounds to speak of are the occasional chirp from a bird, moo from a cow and the constant laughter from two kindergarten angels / rat-bags having a blast in the golden afternoon sun. The smell of the canola is thick and heavy but the feel of the afternoon is light and golden. There are a few minutes there where I start to think that winter might actually be over and the warm sunny days are going to be around for a few months. We had such a nice afternoon and the fact that we managed to grasp a little bit of magic from the air and squeeze it into a camera was a fringe benefit. What a beautiful place with beautiful little people. xo

Well friends… Jeepers! has survived a full year!
I can honestly say that in that time I have met wonderful people, challenged myself and most of all, enjoyed every second of it. Here is a year in review… some of the moments that flew into my cameras and sprung out of my studio to live on the walls of many houses out there and also in the carefully constructed pages of treasured albums spread across the countryside… Now for the next year. Challenges ahead and many more pictures to make. Spring is here and the sky is blue again…

We were certainly fed some false advertising by the sun on this cold, cold afternoon! Looking at the photos you’d be forgiven for thinking it was not a bad day, but honestly, we were all chattering our teeth a few times! It didn’t matter though because nothing was going to stop us capturing this beautiful families glow. These children were so much fun, asking me questions with “excuse me” every other minute! What a beautiful, knowing little girl she is… And little Phoenix was so serious until I started to eat some leaves and dirt which is starting to become my trademark! Eating nature was not exactly on my list of photographic goals but it certainly works when a smile is hidden deep within. Who said winter is out of bounds for location style photography! Thanks to you guys for a great (cold) afternoon!
